Fresher's Week for Tim

Had a couple of phone calls from Tim - he seems to be settling in well and getting out and about with his flatmates. Registration day passed without incident - managed to arrive with all the correct paperwork. His laptop passed all the tests with the IT Technician and has been set up and he is now waiting in a queue for his broadband to be switched on and connected into the uni network. On Tuesday he was at "Party on the Pier" - enjoyed that, although the rain kept off, it was a bit windy and cold. Fresher's Fayre on Wednesday - free gifts, free drinks and other assorted attractions. He's signed up for stewarding at Rag Week, but nothing else took his fancy. Today was "meet your tutor" and choose your extra modules - haven't heard how that went yet, but he was intending to do Maths first semester and Biology for the second. Hasn't been impressed with the food, seems the portions are a bit skimpy, but he hasn't really had time to sample enough of it yet. The course starts next Monday at 9am - so Good Luck Tim!!
